Girls Night Out Makeup of the Night ♥

It was one of my super close friend's birthday and we celebrated it by partying on the 2nd Saturday of the year. We went to Valkyrie, one the the newest opened clubs in the Philippines.

Of course, the best part is putting on makeup and dressing up...
...but one of the hardest decision is what lipstick to wear.

Here are the products I used:

  1. First things first, of course is primer and I used my all time favorite Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser.
  2. Then I put a bit of corrector, an orange corrector from Suesh.
  3. To even out my skin tone, I chose a long lasting foundation that doesn't transfer, which is the Rimmel Long Lasting Foundation.
  4. My eyebags needs to be treated so I swiped some Garnier BB Eye Roll On and blend that in.
  5. Setting the makeup with powder is a must to prevent creasing. Fashion 21 Loose Powder makes my skin look uber flawless.
  6. Highlight and contouring the face is the best way to make the face look skinnier and look chiseled in a cheaper way. I used a generic highlight and contour powder from Makeup Design Academy.
  7. For my brows, I always use the Sleek Brow Kit in Dark to have that bold and defined brows.
  8. I primed my eyes with Maybelline Tattoo Eyeshadow in Nude Compliment to help the eyeshadow stick.
  9. For the eyeshadows I mixed Urban Decay Naked 2 and MUA Cosmetics in Going For Gold.

MUA Going For Gold Shade 8 on the center of the lid.
MUA Going For Gold Shade 7 on the inner corners.
UD Naked 2 Busted on the outer v and crease.
UD Naked 2 Foxy on the brow bone.
MUA Going For Gold Shade 7 on the inner lower lash line.
UD Naked 2 Busted on the outer lower lash line.

   10. Cat eye is a must and I used Maybelline Studio Gel Eyeliner in Blackest Black. I also tight line with the same product.
   11. Curl lashes and apply Benefit They're Real Mascara.
   12. To add a bit of color on my face I added Wet 'n Wild Color Icon Blusher in Mellow Wine on my cheek bones.
   13. Lastly is the lips and I went for a bold one with Wet 'n Wild Megalast Lip Color in Cherry Bomb.

Here are my thoughts for these palettes:

PROS:
Z-Palette dupe
Bigger than Z-Palette
Cheaper than Z-Palette (PHP741 - PHP1,280) *Price from Luxola
Local brand
Comes with free magnetic stickers
The transparent on top of the professional palette where you can see what are inside.
The personal palette comes with a mirror. Very handy!
Not bulky and can save a lot of space.
Sturdy

CONS:
Made with paper material that is not very durable.
Limited color selections.

If you ask me if it is worth the price, yes it is. Would I recommend it? Honestly, I have to say I am 60-40% on that one. If you don't need it, then don't. It is not a necessity to every makeup lovers. But if you need to save a lot of space and want to have a handy palette, then buy one.

Here's what I placed on my personal palette:
Powder, Blush, Contour and Brow Powder.

I am thinking of adding some neautral eyeshadows. What do you guys think?
