Pitapat Peeling Eraser Cleanser First Impression & Review ♥

Credits to YET Korea FB page

Pitapat Peeling Eraser Cleanser is a skin care product produced by Yes! Enjoy Time or also known as Y.E.T Korea Cosmetics. YET Korea is somewhat new to the Philippines. It has only one kiosk in the Philippines, which is at Rockwell (SoFa Retail Lab, 2F Archeology Power Plant Mall, Beside Happy Lemon). You can also find them on some bazaars, I found them at the World Bazaar Festival 2013 last December 21 at World Trade Center Manila.

In terms of skin care products and cosmetics, I trust in Korean brands because they are vain. They make sure that they put on the best skin care and makeup on their faces. Koreans takes care of their skin seriously.

Pitapat is one of their best sellers, along with their BB Cream and Primer. The brand describes it as,
"A peeling gel that actively purifies and refines skin. Accelerates the turn-over cycle for purer and healthier skin. Contains extracts of willow tree, papaya, and castanea crenata inner shell, and natural cellulose and peeling substance.
Pitapat is a gentle yet powerful skin exfoliator that is enriched with nutrients and amino acids. It lifts off dead skin cells and allows development of new, fresh skin. It takes away dullness and embedded dirt not just in your face, but also in other parts of the body."

For the packaging, you cannot really read what is stated there if you can't read Korean characters but the packaging itself is cool and very creative. It also has a pump for easy application and you can lock the pump if you are not using it.

Ingredients:
Water, Cellulose, Dipropylene Glycol, Butylene Glycol, Betaine, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, Phenoxyethanol, Glyceryl Caprylate, Carbomer, Arginine, Perfume, Rose Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Nelumbium Speciosum Flowe Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract

Price: PHP595

The price is alright since it has a good amount of 200mL and it will last you for a long time since you only need one pump or a pea size of it to exfoliate the whole face. Furthermore, it is adviced that you will only do this once a week (for the face). You may use this for the elbows and any part of the body you want to exfoliate.

For the application, as stated, you only need a pea size for the face. Pump it to the finger tips and massage it to the face in a circular motion. Do this after you wash your face. You will see white small particles that looks like a tiny rolled out paper. After exfoliating, you can just wipe your face or wash it again with water.

Our experience:

My mom and I tried this the night we bought it. We have lots of peeling on the sides of our nose. For me, I had a lot of peeling on my under eye area since I have dry patches around that part. After exfoliating, we used our usual toner. For my mom she noticed that the cotton ball is clean. She usually has some dirt left even when she thoroughly washes her face. That basically concludes that the product cleaned her face well. As for me I still have some dirt on my cotton ball when I used my toner. Maybe I didn't exfoliate that well but I felt my skin was so soft afterwards.

I also used this on my left elbow because it is very much dry and peeling. I scrubbed it and it made it soft and looks better right away.

As for the smell, which I am very particular about, it doesn't have a strong and irritable scent. I can't explain how it smells but it isn't very overpowering, it is alright.

Me and my mom loves this product and I highly recommend this product to everyone. We need to remove those dull skin and dirt in our skin because of the pollution and humidity.

If you tried this product or any from the brand, please let me know so I would know what should I get. I can't wait to try more products from the brand.

Thank you!

What's In My Travel Makeup Kit ♥

Hey there! I will be celebrating Christmas Day out of town so I want to share with you what makeup products I will be bringing with me.

So here is my makeup bag, it is a makeup bag from Lancome...

and here's what inside...

  1. BB Cream - My current favorite bb cream, which is the Maybelline Clear Smooth All-in-One Skin Transformer. It is hot in where I will go so the I need the SPF 26++ of this product. And it is not that fancy place so I don't need much coverage.
  2. Kabuki Brush - This one is a flat top kabuki brush I bought from landmark and I use this to apply my bb cream and to thoroughly blend my concealer and powder to my face.
  3. Concealer - My current holy grail product, Garnier BB Eye Roll-on, which brightens up my face and cover up my under eye circles. I use this to conceal and highlight m face.
  4. Pressed Powder - Since I am using a bb cream, I need an oil-control powder and I am loving the K-Palette Zero Teka Mat Powder to mattify my face and to set my makeup. It also comes with a powder puff.
  5. Contour Powder - Who wants a flat face anyway? This one is my holy grail product as well, which is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer. I use this for contouring my temple, cheekbones, jawline and nose. Sometimes I use this to contour my crease or as a transition color. Plus this product has a mini brush that is usable, not like other brushes
  6. Blush - I am using up this product and I also love it. Sephora Cream Blush in Rose Glow is easy to work with and it gives me a naturally flushed face.
  7. Brow Pencil - I am using Careline Color Pencil in brown to define my brows and it goes on pretty well.
  8. Eyeliner Brush - A dense eyeliner brush is what I use to spread the brow pencil to my brows. I also bought this one from Landmark.
  9. Clear Brow Gel (Not in the picture) - I am using up my Nichido Brow Gel so I always use this when I do my brows.
  10. Beige Eyeliner - I use Nichido Mineral/Spot Concealer to line my lower waterline to make my eyes awake and I also use this to clean up my brows.
  11. Eyeliner - The San San Gel Eyeliner in Black is one of my faves. It glides on smoothly and it has a handy brush on the tip. Some people hates this but I don't.
  12. Eye Shadow Palette - I am torn between Urban Decay Naked Basics and Wet 'n Wild Fergie Collection in Dessert Festival. What do you think should I bring?
  13. Waterproof Mascara - A waterproof one is a must since the place I am going to is very hot. Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost is the only waterproof mascara that I have since I hate waterproof mascaras. I think waterproof mascaras damage my lashes.
  14. Lip balm & Lipsticks - For lip balm, I am currently using Maybelline Baby Lips Pink Lips. It moisturizes my lips and adds a subtle hint of pink stain. For everyday lips, I will be bringing my Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain but I am not sure if I would bring this orange tone (Rendezvous) or just a my lips but better color (Honey). Then for a more festive lip color, I also will bring my NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in Amsterdam, which is one of my favorite red lipstick.

That's all! It seems so many but they're just what I use most of the time. I hope you've got some idea on what to bring when you travel.

Merry Christmas everyone! ♥

4 Holiday Glam Makeup Look Ideas ♥

Christmas is just around the corner. There’s only a few days left. Here are some holiday glam looks that I want to share with all of you. I am not a makeup artist but I enjoyed creating this makeup look, so here they are.

1. Blue and Rose Gold

Blue and Rose Gold Holiday Eye Makeup. December 2013

These colors are on trend at the moment and I want to create a simple look with these wonderful colors.  Popping the rose gold color the whole lid, defining the crease area with the blue, and blend the two colors with a shimmery gray. Then highlight the browbone and the inner corners with a shimmery light pink. And of course, the whole look will be complete with a subtle black wing liner and lining the inner rims with black.
Here’s how I did it:

2. Angel’s Wing and Pink Bottoms
Angel's Wings and Pink Bottoms. December 2013

Why not rock white wing eyeliner instead of the usual black? People don’t usually do this but it looks good. You just have to be confident in wearing it. And why do a hot pink liner on the lower lash line? This look is fun and sort of not a holiday glam look but it is just inspired by an angel’s wings, which Christmas is full of Angels since it is the birth of Jesus.
Here’s how I did it:

3. Christmasy Look
Christmas Glam Eye Makeup paired with a hot red lipstick. December 2013

This look is the most festive and more inspire by the Christmas colors, which are Green and Gold (plus a hot red lips). Most eye makeups have always the lightest shade in the inner thirds of the eye, but why not place it on the center of the lids to make the eyes pop? Just place the green pigment almost all over the lid, just leaving the center clean for the gold eyeshadow.
Here’s how I did it:

4. Bad to the Bronze
Holiday Glam Look: Bad to the Bronze. December 2013

Christmas or holidays will not be complete without glitters! Just pop on a glittery bronze on the lids and define the outer v with a matte brown eye shadow. This look is very much festive pairing it with deep red lips.
Here’s how I did it:

I hope you got an inspiration with the looks that I created. Go ahead and make your look extra festive this holiday.

Merry Christmas to everyone and have a great Holidays. :)

My Christmas (Beauty Related) Wishlist for 2013 ♥

1. Eye Shadow Palette
I want another eye shadow palette because the palette that I only have as of the moment is the E.L.F eye shadow palette. It’s alright for beginners but I find it not that pigmented and it looks like a paint palette for kids. I am not a fan of its packaging and some colors are hard to work with. It doesn’t matter for me what brand I will get as long as the shadows are pigmented.

2. Contour and Highlighter Palette
I don’t have this kind of palette and I want to have one. I only have one bronzer that I love, which is the Benefit Hoola Bronzer, and I already hit pan on it. Same goes to this palette, it doesn’t matter what brand as long as it has a good color payoff.

3. MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer
There are a lot of raves for this particular concealer and I want to try it for myself. I’m in NC30 for concealer, just in case someone wants to buy me one. (Haha! As if!)

4. Benefit Confessions of a Concealaholic
Yes, I am a concealer addict because I really want to cover up my under eye circles. I don’t have pimple marks or any equivalent to that, just my eye bags. I haven’t tried anything that really covers my eyebags and I think this will help.

5. Makeup Forever HD Foundation
This too has a lot of raves. I want to try this one. I don’t have a high end foundation and I think this is one of the best foundations in the market. I am NC40 in MAC, what is the equivalent of it to MUFE?

6. Makeup Brush Set
I have some brushes I use but I am eyeing to have the Beauty Cosmetics Brush set but if someone is so generous, I want to have a Sigma brush set. For the Beauty Cosmetics brush set, I have 2 brush set that I want to have…

Also, I want to have the Real Techniques Holiday Brush set or any set from them. I want to collect brushes as well because they have different uses and I just love to have a lot in my collection. There are a lot of raves about this too, so I want to try this as well.

7. Makeup Organizer Acrylic
With all the makeups that I have and want to have, of course I want to store them into a good container. Large drawers would be nice and a brush container with lid from Miss Bella.

8. Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy La Fleur
This is the most amazing scent I have ever smelled. Yes, I love this scent more than I loved Escada perfumes. I have a sample size of this, which I already finished, and I want to have the full size of this. If you haven’t smelled this, please do if you love flowery scents.

9.     Makeup school enrollment

I want to enhance my skills and to learn more about makeup. I want to step up my craft to a professional level. I love makeup, I love applying makeup to myself and to other people. Enrolling to a makeup school will be a stepping stone to become a professional makeup artist.

Basically, I just want to expand my makeup collection so I will have different products to show to you. Also, I want this to be my bread and butter. To make makeup artistry to become my career in the near future.

I just want to share this to you.

Nails of the day ♥

I seldom apply nail polish to my nails but I think that this purple one is beautiful. I found it not so opaque, though. I applied 3 coats of this to make this color pop on my nails.

La Belle Nail Polish. It didn't have the color or shade name in the bottle but it is a pearly purple color. I just noticed that it was two-toned when I applied it. It is pearly purple and a blue-violet color, which is very cool.

For the accent nails, I used Color Trends nail polish in Celebrity Seen, which is an emerald green with a hint of blue in it. Then I top it all off with a clear polish from the same brand.

The nail polishes are very cheap but they look good and they dry quite fast on the nails. :)

iWhite Nose Pack Review ♥

If you watched one of my 'Favorites' video, you would know that I love the Glam Works Charcoal Nose Pore Strips in removing my whiteheads and blackheads. But then again I thought that it doesn't remove those unwanted dirt in the sides of my nose because the strips cannot get into it. So I tried a cream type nose pack that mainly has the same use.

iWhite Nose Pack
3.5mL
Price: PHP18

I was so confused with the packaging (the color, mainly), since there are blue and the other is pink. There is no label that they are different or they are just the same, so I got both. Basically it is formulated with Panax Ginseng Root Extract, Mulberry Root Extract, Aloe Vera and Bio-Nanotechnology, which helps in taking care of the skin. It also claims that it sooth skin while 'effectively' stripping off dirt, it tightens the pores, and it improves skin texture.

I am a freak in removing white and blackheads in my face, especially in my nose so I went ahead and tried it after I took my bath.

First and foremost, the scent of it didn't irritate me. It smells like the usual cream nose pack. Second, it is very creamy and thick in consistency. It isn't like the usual lotion, it is like the cheese in the pizza that when you pull out a slice, there is a string-like that is attached to what is left. I kind of made a mess when I first applied it. It is not very heavy on the nose, it didn't bother my face and me. It hardens but I can still move my nose.

After 15 minutes of leaving it to my nose, I pulled it out starting the bottom part. It is so hard to remove not like the other nose pore creams. I sneezed while removing it and it is somewhat painful. So when I removed the product, there are still some left on my face. I hate that about cream nose pack, but I cleaned it with a wet wipe. So I immediately looked at the white stuff to see if it removed my black and whiteheads.

I was disappointed. It didn't remove any, or just some of it. It's not visible and it seems like it didn't do much on my nose. Those black dots you may see above are just the popped bubbles. After that, my nose was very irritated, most pore strips or cream does that to me so that's pretty normal. The only pro that I can say about this is that it made my nose smoother.

Here's the before and after picture of my nose:
Before

After
Over all, I didn't like this product. I will not repurchase this and I don't recommend this. But if you did tried this product and you like it, please do comment it don below so I would know if I will give this one another try. Thank you!

Hope you learned something in this post. Happy Holidays! ♥

The Best Facial Wipes I Ever Tried! ♥

I have tried a lot of wet wipes or facial wipes to remove my makeup and this one really made me love it in just my first try. Before I always used the Giggles Baby Wipes to remove my makeup, then I ran out of it and tried another brand. Then I tried the Baby First Baby Wipes because it is stated that it is hypoallergenic. I wasn't really impressed with this baby wipes. It is so tiny, doesn't really do it's job of cleaning and the lid is hard to close.

Then I bought this new cleansing wipes yesterday and tried it last night. It isn't the usual wet wipes cloth and it cleans in just one swipe. I have to say that I am so impressed. Without further ado, the wet wipes I am talking about is the...

Sanicare Cleansing Wipes
Price: PhP90
80 Sheets
Size: 15cm x 20cm

Ingredients:
Purified Water, Glycerin, Coconut Oil, Allantoin, Witch Hazel Extract, Aloe Vera, Vitamin E Acetate, Moisturizing Agent, Polysorbate-20, Fragrance.

It has a subtle scent of Eucalyptus, which is not over powering and not irritating. It is also moisturizing, which is a plus since I am on the drier side of skin type. But normal, combination and oily skin may also use this. The cleansing wipe is safe for children, since it is gentle to the skin and it is alcohol-free. Moreover, the texture of the fabric is different from the other wet wipes. It has patterns in it, which I found cool. The texture also helps in cleansing thoroughly. It also gives a cooling effect or a refreshing feeling when used.
Patterns of the cloth

Over all, this is my new favorite facial wipes and I will repurchase this when I ran out of it. I also recommend this wet wipes to everyone.

I hope you find this one helpful! ♥
